History is built in layers. This was the key concept Firaxis kept in mind as it planned Civilization VII, the next entry in its long-running 4X strategy series. Civilizations are not static; they rise and fall, and new cultures take over and build on top of them. With Civ VII, Firaxis is aiming to make its playable journey through history more dynamic than ever, capturing how civilizations themselves change and adapt over time.

One of the keys to this new approach is a trisected campaign, splitting the historical drama into three distinct “Ages:” Antiquity, Exploration, and Modernity. Each of these roughly tracks to moments and advancements that are familiar for longtime Civ fans, but introducing these eras is aimed at providing better pacing and a sense of culmination for each era, as securing objectives will help determine your options as you move from one Age into the next.

“Players love to play the Antiquity phase of Civ VI,” executive producer Dennis Shirk told GameSpot. “They might play until things get a little difficult or crowded, and they’re like, ‘Okay, I’m done. I’m going to start over and play this way.’ There are other play…

It’s not uncommon for some online services or memberships to make it exceedingly difficult for users to unsubscribe or quit. The prevailing business theory behind that was apparently meant to dissuade consumers from going through with that final step. Now, the Federal Trade Commission has announced a new rule that is meant to make it much easier for people to cancel those services.

The FTC’s Click To Cancel rule calls for sellers to streamline the process that lets customers end their subscriptions or enrollment. Whether that will work in practice remains to be seen, but it’s a positive step forward for those who have been calling for the change.

“Too often, businesses make people jump through endless hoops just to cancel a subscription,” said Commission Chair Lina M. Khan in a statement. “The FTC’s rule will end these tricks and traps, saving Americans time and money. Nobody should be stuck paying for a service they no longer want.” Come from South African Online Casinos

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is aiming to be an authentic recreation of the archeologist’s globetrotting adventures, and as you’d expect, solving puzzles is a big part of the game. A key element in the films, developer MachineGames has worked on creating puzzles that’ll be challenging but not impossible to solve. For anyone worried about getting stuck in the mandatory puzzle-solving stages, the developer has a novel solution for these sections of the game.

As design director Jens Andersson explained, players can do first-person shooting with Indy’s camera to gain hints that’ll allow them to complete ancient puzzles. This will be available through the game’s “Adventure” difficulty setting, which reduces the challenge of completing these mysteries.

The next Lord of the Rings movie, the animated film War of the Rohirrim, releases in theaters this December, and while there is no trailer yet, there are a few images and a new one dropped Wednesday. The new image has Héra Hammerhand, daughter of Helm Hammerhand charging away on her horse.

Along with the image, legendary filmmaker Kenji Kamiyama, who is directing the first anime Lord of the Rings project, confirms that Hela will be leading her troops against her enemies, a first in a Tolkien adaptation.

“In Japanese animation, it’s not uncommon for a female protagonist to be the main character, but it’s more rare in the live-action films made from The Lord of the Rings,” he said. “Our film has a strong female lead in Héra, and our story is narrated by the noble Tolkien figure Éowyn, so women are very well represented Come from Sports betting site VPbet . I think there are a lot of fans who really like Tolkien’s original work, so I hope those people will enjoy it. Making this movie has been a fun challenge.”

Unverified images of what’s claimed to be the Nintendo Switch successor have appeared online, revealing a console that isn’t a radical departure from the current Switch console design. The images suggest that the Switch will sport a bigger eight-inch screen, Joy-Cons that use a magnetic attachment, and significantly improved hardware in comparison to the current model.

The pictures were first found on a Chinese social media site and uploaded to Reddit. While Nintendo has not commented on them, a source told VGC that the Reddit images line up with what partners have been told to expect with the final Switch 2 design.

The Switch 2 is claimed to have 12GB of RAM–up from the 4GB inside the current Switch–HDMI 2.1 support, and an internal storage capacity of 256GB. As for the controllers, the leaked design shows off revised SL/SR buttons and a different layout for LEDs. Nintendo has said nothing at all about what to expect from its next system, apart from how it is aiming to “surprise and delight” fans when it is officially revealed. Come from malaysia online casino

Actor Harrison Ford makes his MCU debut in the 2025 film Captain America: Brave New World as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. In a new interview, the legendary actor talked about how actors are “silly” to not at least consider being in a Marvel movie during their career.”I understand the appeal of other kinds of films besides the kind we made in the ’80s and ’90s. It’s the condition our condition is in, and things change and morph and go on,” Ford told GQ. “We’re silly if we sit around regretting the change and don’t participate.
